**FLU VACCINATIONS UPDATE 15.9.2020**

We are now booking flu vaccinations for our Under 65 year old in at "at risk" group and Over 65 year olds.   Please speak to us if you are unsure about your eligibility for a free NHS flu vaccine. If you are aged 50-64 years old and not in an "at risk" category we are currently unable to offer you a vaccine as we are awaiting further guidance from Welsh Government. Due to Covid-19 we have had to change the way in which we run our clinics.  ALL clinics will be held in…Read more

**FLU VACCINATIONS 2020** update 18.8.2020

Please do not contact us to book a flu vaccination. Our supplies are not due until the end of September/beginning of October 2020 and we will not be offering appointments until we have the vaccines in the building (this is to avoid us having to cancel any appointments, should the vaccine delivery is delayed). At present we will only be offering vaccines to our Over 65 year old patients and our under 65 year old patients at risks.  Please note that we have already ordered our Flu vaccinations ready for this season and…Read more

Update on services July 2020

Thank you for bearing with us.  We are still not ready to open the surgery fully to patients as we still find ourselves in uncertain times, despite lockdown being slowly lifted by Welsh Government and the number of confirmed cases/deaths decreasing.  Our priority is keeping the Practice Team safe which will allow us to continue to deliver care/services to our patients but also ensure that it is safe for patients to attend the surgery if they have been asked to do by a Doctor/Nurse or Pharmacist.  We will continue to work from Pontyclun…Read more

Contacting us update 3.6.2020

The surgery remains open but we are dealing with queries on the day either over the telephone or video consultation. You no longer have to ring at 8.15am for a morning consultation and 2pm for an afternoon consultation.  However, we do ask that you ring us as soon as possible.  The receptionist will ask you why you need to speak to a Doctor and for some conditions we may ask you to take a photograph ready to send to Doctor (please wait until you are contacted). PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY WITHOUT US…Read more

Update on Surgery being open 24.4.2020

If you have received a shielding letter then you should be self-isolating for 12 weeks from 24th March 2020.   The Practice is still open but we have changed the way in which we currently work. Please do not come to the surgery without contacting us first. Instead of offering routine pre-bookable appointments we are offering daily telephone triage which may include a video consultation, you will be asked by the receptionist the reason for speaking to the Doctor. If the Doctor feels that they need to see you in person you will…Read more

Covid-19 appointments update 13.3.2020

Our waiting rooms are high risk places to pick up infection, and so in the current climate we want to minimise risks for everybody by utilising phonecalls in order to reduce the number of people who need to come to our surgeries, thereby hopefully protecting us all. For other patients who are acutely unwell and feel they will need emergency assessment, you will need to ring the surgery where we will arrange for a GP/nurse to call you for triage of your problem.  Please do not attend the surgery without being invited, as government advice…Read more
