We have always had a policy in place where all medication needs to be ordered in writing or via your nominated Pharmacy (please see practice website).
From Thursday 1st July 2021 if you contact the surgery to order medication over the telephone your request will not be accepted.
Under the instructions of the GP Partners, for your safety we are no longer able to accept requests over the telephone, so please ensure you do not run out of any of your regular repeat medication.
If the item you are requesting is on your regular repeat slip, please use this slip to order your medication. Medication requests can either be made via your nominated Pharmacy or by popping your request into one of our prescription boxes located outside the surgery. This also applies to items that you may order now and again.
We are also increasing the period of notice we need for processing all prescriptions.
We have in the past asked for 48 hours notice (not including the weekends and bank holidays. We are now asking for 72 hours notice (not including weekends and bank holidays)
