Our priority at this difficult time is the health and wellbeing of both our patients and our practice team. Please be assured that we will continue to offer those services that are essential to our patients, but we may have to offer them in a different way to usual.  PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR BRANCH SURGERY IN LLANHARRY IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO PATIENTS and we do not know when we will be able to re-open this surgery.

In order to reduce footfall and to ensure social distancing all appointments are currently by telephone and if the Doctor or Nurse feels that you need to come into the Practice you will be advised of this and offered a time.

Please do not come to the Practice for test results or to request a fit note please telephone us after 11am.

Our team of receptionists are here to help you but are unable to give advice on whether or not you should stay home/go to work/travel – please visit Public Health Wales or Government Websites for advice.

We have not been advised when these letters will be sent and which patient will receive them.  Please be patient and do not contact the Practice to ask if you will be receiving a letter – we currently cannot answer this question.

The Practice and local Pharmacies have been inundated with requests and we are doing our best to work together to ensure you do not go without any medication.  Please note that we will only issue a maximum of 2  months.

Acute prescriptions – if you have a prescription to collect please ensure the person collecting it is well (do not collect it yourself if you are unwell)

Non-acute prescriptions – will be sent to your nominated pharmacy within 48 hours

Repeat prescriptions – You must order these through your nominated pharmacy.

Medication queries and requests for items not on repeat may be done by telephone, you may be asked to speak to a GP or Nurse if the prescription clerk is unable to help with your query.

We are unable to provide you with a fit note to cover absence if you have been asked to stay at home following the latest public health advice on Coronavirus.  Please visit the 111.nhs.uk site and search for ISOLATION NOTE.

In certain circumstances we will be able to offer video consultations but this will be decided by the Doctor.
